Happy Birthday to the love of my life...

Happy Birthday to my best friend, husband, and the love of my life!! If you have never met Jonny, let me just brag on him for a moment. He is AMAZING. I am so lucky. He is perfect for me and I seriously thank the Lord for him everyday. He is hilarious at times, always makes correct decisions, a hard worker, studies his brains out and gets good grades, loves being active and healthy, is very patient with me and others, loves to have things that are nice, supports me with a wierd work schedule, and many more things. He is so awesome. I love you honey.

This is out of order, but the most hilarious thing about our night was this Gene Morph. I look retarted because it told me not to have any hair on my face when they took the pic... anyways- this my friends is the result of Jonny and my posterity. Baby ______ Millett (name is top secret) Notice she has a deformed nose and lip. Maybe this is a sign that we will have some problems? or just that we shouldn't have kids just yet? or maybe we are secretly related and that's why she is retarted? Nonetheless, with a better haircut and some plastic surgery, she would be a pretty darn cute looking kid!!

This lovely creation is the attempt of me making Jonny's absolute FAVORITE birthday breakfast tradition, GERMAN PANCAKES. It is a combination of eggs, flour, oil, and some other really bland things. I kept asking him if he wanted me to make him some extravagant meal like bacon, sausage, ham soufle, etc. but he declined. So, after making this entire pan, I gave him his portion and poured myself a bowl of Lucky Charms :) I am not a huge breakfast person, especially this type of stuff. Hope J wasn't offended.

It has been a whole week of partying!! We started out by having a dinner with my family on sunday- we have a tradition for everyone's bday to go around the table and say what you love about them.. It is such a fun time- especially because my family is not very expressive all the time. It's kind of a known thing that we love eachother- but my mom started this and it makes us say things out loud!! I of course, couldn't even say anything without crying- i'm such a baby.Then we headed off to Canyon lake with Jonny's family Friday morning. We camped ( in the motorhome haha) and spent the two days on the boat and jet skis. That is Jonny's favorite thing to do in the whole world!! Saturday (his actual bday) ,I surprised him with Joe's BBQ for lunch because he's always wanted to go there. That night we went to Dave & Buster's and had a blast!! We seriously felt like we were kids again- It is a giant Chucky Cheese' for adult (with a bar) but we were playing games all night!!

I on the other hand, was not doing so well.. Wehave so much fun together and I hope that J had a great bday!!

Funeral/ Vacation/ Birthday/ Wedding

OK, so if this picture doesn't make you cry, i don't know what will. My grandma, Leona Udall lost her battle with lung cancer on july 21st. My family was in Oceanside,CA when it happened so we weren't able to be there when she took her last breath. All my relatives said it was very peaceful- they were all in the room ready to give my grandpa and her a blessing, but after they sang "Love at Home", they realized that she wasn't breathing anymore. I guess in some ways it is a blessing, but for me it is really sad- I haven't ever lost anyone that closely related to me. My grandpa is really sad. A good portion of why I am so sad is because of my Grandpa. I can't imagine losing my spouse and it makes me cry just thinking about it.He is now living with Grandma Carpenter ( leona's mom) and it is very difficult, as you could imagine if you lived with your 99 1/2 year old mother in law. Leona was a wonderful woman who lived a life of frugality, and righteousness. I wish that we could have lived closer to them my entire life, but i'm glad that we could spend a lot of time with them these past couple months. I'm grateful to know that I will see her again. Isn't the gospel wonderful?

The fam in Oceanside- we love going here every summer, and this year, everyone was able to come for at least an entire day together! It was hilarious- We mostly all went up on Saturday, then some people left sunday night, monday night, tuesday morning, wednesday night... my mom was going crazy!! I guess that's what happens when we are all in school and married and such. Doug brought his girlfriend Sarah too- she is so darling and we can't wait (hope) to have her a part of our fam!!
Jonny left to go to school, so I was there a few days without him- we rode bikes, shopped, tanned, you know girly stuff while we could!! It was such a fun, relaxing week for me.
Jonny's sister Katie got married the end of June- unfortunately I don't have any pics yet of the happy couple, but it was a fun weekend! She looked beautiful!! It is really hard to believe that she is married and living away from home.. but they will work it out i'm sure :)

I'm so late on this post because my computer was down for a little bit- but it is so important!! My favorite sister Sarah had her 16th bday in June- She is so darling. We were hoping she would be "sweet 16 and never been kissed..." but i think she missed it by a month or so :) We celebrated by going to cheescake factory and i'm sure we did some other fun girly stuff but i don't really remember!! Sorry- anyways my sis has the cutest friends ( guys and girls), she is so outgoing- likes to try new things, is adventurous, an amazing dancer and singer, likes playing " love song" on the piano, is literally my twin- we get called eachother's names a lot, is way more technologically advanced than I was at her age, is a good friend to everyone, and lots more that i could write about all day.... happy belated bday sis.Love ya
Dancing at Katie's wedding- it was such a hot night,but we managed to "get our groove on " on the dance floor!!! What's hilarious is that our bishop was there and he asked us to chaperone the saturday night stake dance that weekend, and then wanted that to be our calling- I wish I had pics from it- it was so fun!! ok- maybe I liked it more than jonny but it's fun to get out every once in a while and do something different. I would take that calling anyday, over nursery :) jk

The grand-daughters- we sang "Love one Another" at her funeral, and I played the violin- but I couldln't see the music cause I was teary eyed!! It was a tender moment for all of us...
Me & my babe- he is so cute!! I love hanging out with him and living with him. He is such a great husband- so patient with me in learning how to be a wife. I love you hun.

Summer's Here!!

I know it's been a while since i've posted.. a lot has been happening- and i'm so glad that summer is here!! Last week, Jonny started our washing machine ( in our kitchen) and left for a long day at school. Upon his return at 4pm, he found our entire house flooded! I guess our hose came out of the wall and poured 80 gallons of water out.Yes- that's right- 2 inches of water covered our kitchen, family room, and bathroom. NOT FUN!! thank goodness nothing was damaged- just a very messy and unkept house for about a week. He is so good to move that furniture a few times!!
Thanks to our good friend Isaac for helping us clean it up so fast- i promised him I would advertise his carpet business on here :) He is awesome!!
I also sold my old ipod and bought this new cute/ bigger one!! Jonny & I have matching now!! I use my ipod everyday for work and needed one that held a ton of songs. thanks honey!!
Happy belated anniversary!! We have both been so busy these past couple months and did not have time to celebrate our anniversary. So, this past weekend Jonny took me to the Arizona Grand Resort ( formerly the Pointe south Mountain) and it was AMAZING!! They have completely remodeled the whole thing and have this awesome 6 acre water park! I reccomend this hotel to anyone- it is so worth your money!! I wish i had pics of it to show...
Off to thatcher again- Memorial weekend we drove down to thatcher to celebrate my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary- it was kinda a sad trip considering it will be their last anni together- my grandma is very sick and barely has energy to move around. Here's the fam- doug and his g-friend Sarah came down from Utah to be with us- and all of us drove in a 15 passenger van!! It was hilarious!! That was enough family togetherness for me:)

I'm so proud of her!!! She is the only Junior out of 8 girls on the team!! She will be awesome!

This pic is a little old- over Valentine's weekend we took our musical theater company to a competition in Cali!!! They did wonderful- performing at Disney, Knotts, and then competing at Fullerton College at the (musical theater competitions of america) MTCA!!! They won first place!!! I am so proud of them!!! I absolutely love my job!!!

Tuesday night, we took my student (and friend :) ) Kelsey to the Easter Pageant!! It was so fun!!! I love her!!! It made me really want to be in the pageant again- and I think I have convinced Jonny to do it with me again next year...
Don't worry, our sink is working fine--- This was on my "honey to do" list- We went to Home Depot ( our fav store!!) in payson and I passed the isle of cupboard knobs- not only were they a good deal, but our cupboards are hard to open as it is!!! We are so excited to finally have them up- not to mention I think they are pretty cute :) Thanks to my hubby and handy man for alway making me happy-
